James `Jim` Alexander Noto, Age:59

James “Jim” Alexander Noto, age 59, of Chicago, IL, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2023. He is now being welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior.
Jim was born in Chicago, IL, to proud parents, Bennett and Rosalie Noto. Growing up, one of the many things Jim was proud of was his Italian heritage, especially the great hair that came with it. Looks weren’t the only thing he had, behind his slight smirk, Jim was a genuine and sincere person; he was very down to earth. 
When Jim wasn’t out seeing friends and family, you could find him in the garage working on his latest car project. Jim was absolutely fascinated with cars and that love stayed with him his whole life. From GTO Mustangs to Camaro’s and his very own Firebird, he loved to detail and learn exactly how the engine’s worked since he was just a toddler.
 
Along with cars, Jim loved to collect time. He had so many watches, one for every day of the week, every holiday, and more. We wish that we could have collected a little more time with him. Just like Jim could never forget about his favorite hot dog spot Parse’s, we will never forget him in our hearts and memories.
He is survived by his loving mother, Rosalie Noto; his beloved sister, Elizabeth (nee Noto) (Greg) Barone; a brother-in-law, Bill Rose; three nieces, Jennifer Pope, Jacqueline Mendoza, and Jamie (Larry) Reda; five great-nephews, Christopher, Matthew, Wesley, Niko, and Marco.
Jim is preceded in death by his father, Bennett Noto, and his sister, Mary Rose.
 
A visitation to celebrate Jim’s life will be held Sunday, May 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 3:30 p.m. at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center, 6471 N Northwest Hwy., Chicago, IL 60631.

Dear Aunt Rosalie & Family, We are so very sorry to hear about your loss. The handful of times I have interacted with Jimmy, he always made me feel right at home. You could always sense how sincere of a guy he was. Heavens gain but every one here loss, who are left behind. May God bless his soul and bring comfort and peace to my Aunt Rosalie. Our hearts goes out to her and his immediate family. Pray-fully, Anthony & son Jeremy
